Aged health care provider
A family-owned aged care provider operating multiple facilities was struggling to manage its staffing levels. With government funding dependent on the number and needs of its residents, it was important to adjust staffing levels when there were changes in its residential profile. But when end of month financial reports arrived, the Managing Director often found that management at individual facilities had not adjusted staffing levels appropriately. By merging data from the care management and rostering systems on a daily basis management had access to dashboards indicating if staffing levels were appropriate.
Hospitality venues
The managing director of a family-run hospitality group found he was spending the first few hours of each day sifting through spreadsheets full of information about the previous day's trading, before he even knew what issues he needed to address that day. Once the metrics that mattered were agreed, a dashboard could be built that delivered all the information he needed to his phone even before he got to the office, allowing him to concentrate on running the business rather than analysing the data.
Staffing provider
A provider of relief teachers needed a way to quickly identify available teachers located near schools requesting support. To solve this, a geospatial report was developed that could be filtered by school. It displayed the nearest qualified teachers within a defined radius, enabling faster, location-based matching and more efficient deployment.
Membership organisation
A professional services membership organisation wanted to better understand opportunities to improve their membership retention. By combining their own renewal data with publicly available industry demographic data and applying some basic AI, they were able to identify a particular cohort with poor renewal rates. One of the characteristics of that cohort was their geographic location. My providing better services in that area the organisation was able to gain an uplift in its rates of renewal among that group of members.
